About

Hanjaemit Beach is a small beach about 4 km south of central Samcheok, with a sandy shore of about 400 m surrounded by pine forest. Many reefs are scattered around, so fishing is possible, and it marks the starting point of Myeongsa Sipri in Geundeok-myeon. It is about a 10-minute drive from central Samcheok and connects to Seunggong and Maebang beaches. The water is shallow and suitable for all ages, and since few visitors come, it remains largely in its natural state. Nearby are Saecheonnyeon Haean Amusement Park, Jukseoru Pavilion and Hwanseongul Cave.
